What we do
School Councils Qld provides training specific to School Councils. Overall, school council training will emphasize collaboration, effective communication, and strategic decision-making. It will also provide members with the skills and knowledge they need to make a positive impact on the school community. Training can be delivered on any topic, at anytime, anywhere in Queensland.
Twilight
Evening training sessions, after school hours.
Half Day
Training session usually held on a weekend.
Full Day
Training session, usually on a pupil free day or on a weekend.
Our "Grass Roots" Training Program
Our content and delivery is adaptable to suit all school council levels of experience as our program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively lead and engage with your School Council. We will provide you with training on legislation, the constitution, what you can & can't do as a council, and much more.
Bespoke Master Classes
We listen to what you need and develop a training program specific to your School Council. This could be focusing on communication strategies, decision-making processes, conflict resolution techniques, action planning and more.
